Delete Your Badal Lo Account

You can permanently delete your Badal Lo (ClosetSwap) account and all associated data at any time using either of the methods below.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)

1. Open the Badal Lo app and sign in.
2. Tap Profile (bottom-right tab).
3. Tap Privacy & Security.
4. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Your account and personal data are removed immediately. Active orders, undelivered shipments, or pending payouts must be resolved before deletion can complete — the app will tell you which obligations are blocking deletion.

Option 2 — Request deletion from this page

Enter the email or phone number registered to your account. For your protection, we’ll email a one-time confirmation link to the address on file — deletion only proceeds after you click that link, so nobody else can request deletion of your account.

What gets deleted

• Profile information (name, email, phone, profile photo, addresses).
• Listings, dress photos, exchange swap history.
• Chat messages exchanged with other users.
• Saved payment methods (tokenized references — we never store full card numbers).
• Wishlist, search history, push-notification preferences.
• Push-notification device tokens.

What we retain (and why)

• Completed-order records — retained for up to 7 years in anonymized form to comply with tax, accounting, and consumer-protection law in Pakistan and the United States.
• Fraud and abuse signals — device fingerprints associated with confirmed policy violations, retained to protect the marketplace.
• Outstanding wallet balance — you must withdraw any positive wallet balance before deletion. Negative balances must be settled.
